This is the original cover of Woman's Home Companion Magazine dated December 1917. Beautiful Christmas scene. One child holds a freshly cut Christmas tree, the other holds some Christmas Holly.
Artist/Illustrator/Photographer: Eugenie Wireman
Approximate Size (in inches): 11 x 16
Condition: Good to VG with light age wear
This is the cover only . . . not the entire magazine.
Please note: Although we have given a very general grade for condition, please keep in mind that magazine covers suffer much harsher treatment than the rest of the magazine. After years of being handled and tossed around, it is likely that an old cover will show signs of wear including small rips, creases, discoloration/staining, edge chipping, general surface wear, etc. If there is anything more severe, we will note that in the description. It is also helpful to look closely at the picture(s) we have provided above to get a better idea of condition of this cover.
